Well I ordered mine from zavvi via play..and it's not been cancelled just still on pre-order... Bizarre!!!!

Its shocking how much playing about going on with this release its clearly going to be big but just weird how its dropping of sites and appearing on others.

It's still available through the Zavvi outlet on Play at 17.99 and can be pre-ordered. Given the price difference I've pre-ordered just in case they decide to honour it at that price and the actual price never drops that much. No money taken til dispatch so worst that can happen is it's cancelled and I have to re-order later.

no i pre ordered it the first day it was up on zavvi.com may 12 for £24.99 My order was never cancelled. Just wondering if i shouldnt cancel it and re-order once this goes live again to be sure i get a copy.

Tbh i don't mind double dipping on this amd Target, that way i get a sony release of the steel on around mid July, and then a StudioCanal version around a month later, so i get the film earlier than the Zavvi release, and i get 2 different steels

When the Target one arrives i will watch it and if it turns out to be awful, then its simple, i cancel my Zavvi order

You should really try to watch the first 3 before you watch this one. If anything, just Evil Dead 2. It's much more fun to watch these, knowing where it all started so many years ago.

The original Evil Dead 1 & 2 have a more comedic feel to them whereas Army of Darkness is different altogether compared to ED 1 & 2.

The remake is much more serious in tone compared to the originals
