The original The Evil Dead movies were complete comedy, on the other hand Evil Dead (2013) IMO was DISTRUBING not scary. If anyone wants scary try being a kid in the 80's watching The Real Ghostbusters and this guy pops out!

...but i have noticed something new with this uk Evil Dead steelbook i think. Zavvi's listing is now showing this to be a 2 disc edition, which in my book automatically owns the USA and Canadian editions

yeah looks like i got over ecited lol - on second look, that 2nd disc is a dvd
still, if the regular amray has a 2nd bluray disc for special features, this zavvi version will be perfect for swapping out the dvd for the bonus disc

I doubt that it is a 2 disc bluray release.
Amazon only list it as 1 disc for regular edition.
Damn you Sainsburys! They got exclusive bonus disc. :-(

I think it's a interview with Bruce Campbell and a sfx featurette. Really can't afford to double dip. :-(

but on a serious note i really am beginning to hate this business of locking film content away as an exclusive to certain retailers. sainsbury also did this with Avengers. ...and they dont even seem to properly advertise it either so most dont even have a clue unless they get lucky. hell i wonder what else sainsbuires got which i dont even know about
anyway in a few years it'll be:
"The last 30 minutes of the film - available exclusively at your local sainsburies"
I wouldn't normally mind too much that one store has an exclusive edition.
But it's a pain when there is two or more retailers offering their own exclusives, makes it feel like there isn't one definitive best edition to obtain.
