My copy arrived in perfect condition today.. Yippee.. Shame about my Rambo steelbook. It got squashed in the post. Well done Royal Mail.

I think this has the better front image (bar the studio canal logo of course) as it yellow title and dark woods makes it creepier.
The FS/Target version however has the better inside art and back image.
Having pages from the necromicon feature in the case just makes more sense.

Seeing all these pictures makes me jealous.
All 3 copies I bought got half a dozen paint chips on the back. Back artwork is way too dark. I am kidding goodbye to this release.
I must have struck lucky but mine was in perfect condition, I checked it carefully after seeing all the pictures with chips and scuffs.
I actually thought the film was pretty good (might have been about 10 minutes too long towards the end). Sure, it had a lot of jump scares and loud noises (especially in the first half) which seems to be the modern way with horror films, but it was enjoyable enough. It was also nowhere near as violent as I'd been led to believe.
I was a bit disappointed with the after credits sequence. Without spoiling it, I thought it would have been filmed with some relation to previous events, not just a pure black background.

Got mine, and no problems. I first thought there were chips on the paint-work on the back, but on closer inspection it's the picture. The zombie's hand is actually got lighter bits of paint on it, so what looks like paint chips is actually the way its meant to be. Its the design.
Mine arrived with one end of the box opened. It just so happens that this end is the end where the steelbook is mangled. It must have slipped out at some point and someone has just slipped it back in (while whistling I imagine). Need to arrange a return. Play and Zavvi were always the worst for returns.
Watched it last night. Disappointed if I'm being honest. Lovely bit of gore but lacking something for me. Will still buy the uncut version if it ever gets released!
Same here i want to buy the steel but i didnt enjoy the film.im only buying steel that i can watch and not just to keep it
I agree, not sure what's happened on the back but it's VERY dark and nothing at all like the mock-up.
Just got an email from Zavvi reaponding to my request for a refund. I have to send photos to them?!? last time with my Kill Bill steel i didnt need to do that.
