It'll be funny if and when this sells out and starts fetching £70+ then the £30 price would seem too reasonable

I have the UK Amazon exclusive slipcovered set and HAD no issues playing it at all. I believe it was the same transfer as my US set....
My question is WILL THE SLIP FIT OVER THE STEEL EEK!

They probably had Amazon Prime and since Monday is a bank holiday in the UK Amazon have dispatched early to ensure they arrived on or before the release date.
Crap that looks awesome. Would love this one but i just don't think i could justify that price.

I see some of you have Platoon, Scisorhands ect... I ordered the rest of the APRIL releases from Amazon Edward Scissorhands, Platoon, Predator 2, Robocop, The Silence Of The Lambs & X-Men & have not even had the dispatched email ?

Nope, I'm in the same boat. All of my orders for steels from the April wave were through Amazon, and none have been dispatched yet, nor am I expecting them to arrive before Tuesday at the earliest. I believe they were stung in the past for breaking street dates with their preorder dispatches, which is why they make sure we don't get our orders early nowadays.
What has surprised me is how much of an improvement Zavvi have made of their delivery times: my Who Framed Roger Rabbit steel came three days early... they left me waiting weeks for a film last year!
I really like the look of this seeing the in hand pictures, just can't justify spending the money at the moment though. Fingers crossed it'll still be in stock come next pay day
