A good sequel, for what it is, and I appreciate the early 2000's setting and real physical props, but the plot is kinda convoluted and characters are dumb, or vice versa, the description fits both really, and there's basically no blood. It's also trying a little too hard with the retro synthwave score, a kid riding and dropping a bike everywhere, etc, pressing those nostalgia buttons.
There's definite set up for another sequel, and I do hope they complete the trilogy. It's entirely unnecessary but entertaining enough, like a mildly spicy sandwich you don't need, but eat anyway.
