I'm going to place an order online and hope they pack it properly. I'm not sure whether this will be in my HMV store as its only a smaller one.

Funnily enough HMV actually pack items this size quite well. Just not steelbooks.

I'm going with HMV or Amazon for this one. It will probably be amazon because HMV have slowed right down with there deliveries. I think it's worth the extra £2 to make sure it's packaged well.

I wouldn't count on it. HMV did a rubbish job at packaging the recent Bond 50 set... most people's arrived in a large jiffy envelope (mine came with bashed corners).

I'm changing my order to Amazon now that they've priced matched HMV. At least I know they'll package it better, and if it does happen to arrive damaged, then their customer service is also far better.

Sainsburys, dubious packaging, not sure about delivery times..HMV, dubious packaging but on or before release day delivery...Amazon probably the best packaging, but dispatched on release day so later delivery, Play, a few quid more but possibly better packaging than HMV, maybe not as good as Amazon...but quicker delivery....Hmmmm do I want it earlier but possibly damaged, or later and probably minty fresh....

...might move my preorder from Play to Amazon afterall...

Same here actually... my Helghast Edition (Killzone 3) came in a large box, but I'm guessing that's only because they couldn't find a big enough envelope for it.

well just got an email from HMV stating that they are trying to source this item from elsewhere now as their suppliers have discontinued it.

checked HMV, Play and amazon.
Amazon are the only ones who still have it on the site. both play and HMV have removed as far as i can see.

does this mean we wont be getting it

I don't know what's going on, unless they have sold out the stock they had but that doesn't seem likely?

It no longer displays a release date though, and when you add it to your basket the status says "no longer available".
