Received both yesterday, gotta send a big thank you to Tony & my friend Choi for all their continuous hard work & help on these beauties... while I'm very grateful for owning both variants (I'd lose sleep if I don't ) I do like the 1/4 slip a lot more tbh and I still think KimchiDVD's best Disney Steel to date is Tangled (That thing oozes quality in every way).

Now on to the next exclusive please lol, can't get enough of them, the minute you receive one you just look forward to the next one in line that's how addictive they are

Just got a letter from Parcelforce in the UK who want me to pay customs charges for the 1/4 slip:
£38.67 plus £13.50 handling fee, that's £52.17 ($87.50) charges!

I have paid because I have no choice, no pay no parcel, but you can bet your bottom dollar I will be appealing and will get my money back.

They must get their valuations from eBay!



The Lenticular that was sent by K-Packet sailed through, no problems.

I presume the 1/4 slip was sent by EMS. Whats was the value marked as on the invoice?

My thor 2's were marked $40 and got charged £13.50 handling

Yes the £38.67 is just the VAT.
As soon as they deliver tomorrow I have printed out their bor286 form, I will print of the original invoice fill in the form and get the charge, and the fee back.

It was sent EMS, but Im not sure,until they deliver tomorrow, of the marked value, might have been $25.

VAT is applied on the full amount (items total + shipping) if the intrinsic value exceeds 15 GBP.

Got my 2 yesterday - fantastic and love the lenti but also agree with previous poster - still my favourite is the Tangled lenti - that oozed class!!!!

So they should have charged as follows:

20% VAT for $70.80
13.5 towards handling fees.

Anything more is against the law. It took HMRC 3 months to refund for their mistake though they didn't refund the cost of posting the complaint letter which I had asked to. So ultimately I was left out of pocket but that's the way it is.

I am not sure why you didn't ask the site to mark as $20, Merchandise in both customs slip + original invoice.

I think the invoice inside the box will say the same as on the oustside, its just the online one that is $70.80. I think in the ordering rush I may have ticked the online invoice as original.

The package feels lighter than other Kimchi exclusives. Anyone feeling the same? After seeing the Lenticular slip in hand I must say that it just looks okay. Nothing spectacular IMO.

Iv'e got the uk release but which is better kimchis.

I've got both - the Zavvi steel has given a home to the clear slip that came as a pre-order gift with Kimichi's versions.

Does anyone else feel a tad deflated about the clear slip. I expected a little more, sparkle, to it, like how Thor 2 had lightning as well as the title/info, but this one just has the title/info - basically it adds nothing to the image where as Thor 2's clear slip added a lot.
Still looks nice on the Zavvi steel mind.

It darker than expected, and after all the hype in getting myself a copy, I must admit I was a tad deflated, but its still gorgeous and looks stunningly beautiful - especially next to Tangled and Thor 2
