Choi this looks like an excellent package. The steelbook is not what's special in these packages. It's the other elements and the gorgeous lenticular is getting the short end of the stick in that package shot.

What do you think?

I agree. The steel itself is bland and not noteworthy, but the lenti and extras bring it to life.

We can agree to disagree and your entitled to your opinion just like I am :)

I personally don't care for the numbered 'credit card type cards'. I know it separates it from other releases but I don't have a use for it. I think laser etching is the way to go. The bottomline is, I think the unique number should be on the product, not on a piece separated from the product. With the slip cover as an example, you use it to cover the steel, so you can associate it with the product. The plastic cards when the steel is unsealed, just sits there. In any case, that's my opinion and I'm glad you think it's a good idea :)

That is fine with me. But you are a moderator on this board and I have no idea how much of your words are taken more as consideration against that of the rest of us. Do you understand what I'm getting at? We have a conflicting interest and I found it unsettling that a person in the position of power on this board is suggesting something that I don't want and might be taken seriously by Choi.

And no, I still think it's a bad idea but YMMV. :)

Looks awesome, Choi. Thank you for making that (potential) Zavvi cover into the numbered card and postcard.

I think you shouldn't worry about one comment from a mod being over considered compared to a comment from a non-mod. Choi (and Tony) is / are pretty level headed and will no doubt take on board all points of view in equal measures when making future decisions. They have started with the numbered cards for their series of exclusive Steelbooks and the likelihood is that they will continue, but if others have a different preference then this thread is as good a place as any for them to speak up (as darczap has).

The mods here are pretty impartial at the end of the day so I don't think suggesting that they might be using their position of power to sway decisions is all that fair, and I don't think you should be too concerned that your voice isn't being heard either. Again, this thread is the perfect place for you to voice your opinions too.

I quite like the numbered cards as part of the package and because I keep mine sealed they are as good as etched on anyway :)

Oh, no-- I knew this title too late... I searched ebay, but they are suggesting unacceptable price... Resellers are really annoying.. :(
