Excuse my ignorance, but what is the function of this pre-order gift? I received my Thor but did not understand the reason of it.

its the same slip the standard Korean version gets, so you have a choice of that over the 1/4 version, or can swap the clear for the lenti slip. Does seem a bit repetitive and I've caved for a 2nd, local copy of this and Thor so as to utilise both slips, but you cant say they are not nice.

Question, is the preorder gift and special gift the same thing?

pre order gift (assuming same as thor) is the clear slip
the special gifts are the kimichi bonus stuff ie 1/4/lenti slip, artcards etc

I think. I may be wrong, but I believe this is the difference.

Gotcha, wasn't sure exactly how many slips we are getting cause it's listed twice one under preorder and one under special.

spacebarley, welcome to HDN! There is no trading/selling in the main thread. However you can check out our trading forum after you have made more than 20 posts. Enjoy your stay.

I just became HDN's member, so I didn't know there is a trading trading forum... But now I know it :) Thanks!

The packaging looks fantastic for both versions! I really think that Kimchi continues to raise the bar of quality with each release. Thanks to Choi and Tony for all of the awesome work that they put forward in these releases.

I was not able to participate in this because of my post count. I want to avoid this in the future, but I want to make sure I understand what to do:

1) Go to SteelBook Trades/Sales/Deals - SteelBook™ Group Buys
2) Go to the thread indicating the steelbook you want to purchase'
3) reply with the country of destination

If you are early enough, your name will be added to the list of people to receive the steelbook.

A link will be added to the OP that allows each user to pay for his steelbook or the OP of the GB will send an invoice ???

When something like this GB opens, what will I see in the forum. Will the thread suddenly be posted and then everyone will scurry to be added to the list?

New to this and I don't want to miss anymore. Thanks.

Not every GB is on a first come first served basis, it depends on how many steelbooks are made available. It just so happened that this one had a low print run.

You will receive an invoice by PM which you will need to settle asap.

When a GB opens for a given steelbook, usually a post on the steelbook's main thread (like this one for instance) will notify the members that the GB is a go.

Hi all. I spent about 30 min making this just now (yes.. I now.. Zesty could do it in 14 seconds :p) ... but I am like way below that level because obviously my technical skills are horrible. I truly hope Tony doesn't mind. I just wanted to see what it would look like with the lenticular front and center as the main attraction plus the back cover included.

Here is my attempt at the lenti package shot: :D

So happy/proud to be a Kimchi collector! The lenticular one looks amazing! I think it will be just as- or even more impressive than the Tangled lenticular edition. Asian exclusives in general, seem to be made with so much love and care. One can tell that this is a passion, and not a way to make a quick buck. Thanks to Kimchi, Tony, Choi, and the wonderful people here at HDN for making this a reality

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. However are you saying the link to the GB will appear in a thread like this, but the actual GB thread will be in the Steelbook Group forum?

It might be a question already answered or maybe stupid but say you do have an exclusive Lenticular that you don't want to open (hypothetically), does the Kimchi NON-exclusive come with the same Lenticular (as the 700 exclusive#9) but just without the numbering card, the art cards etc...
