Aw man I jumped the gun and picked option 1. Should have consulted here first. Rookie mistake I suppose. Don't want to inundate Choi with more PMs than I already have (and I'm sure he's getting a ton). What are the implications of choosing a different option? The package gets held up at customs? TIA!

No you should be fine. I always go for gift and mark it as a lower amount and have had ZERO issues so far.

From my understanding the higher the value the higher the chances of getting fees. Full value (option 3 ) would list the full price $50+. So you choosing #1 at $20 should be perfect.....

So 1 would be the best bet for the USA? Sorry for all of the questions. I don't think I've ever had to mark stuff down as a gift/merchandise when I've ordered internationally.

Out of curiosity, what are the implications of choosing Option #2 ($20 as merchandise)?

Choi, The invoice said "3) shipping info Kimchi will ship the address on your account. No need to send me address by PM"

How would we get are tracking number?

I want to watch this film again so bad. I've held off on getting the abysmal North American release, so I can't wait for this to get here! :scat:

To anyone in the US: I've been importing movies for about ten years and I have NEVER been hit with a customs fee. Not once. You would have to have the value marked in the high hundreds (in my opinion) to get hit. Our customs just isn't as stringent as our friends in the UK. Hope that helps.

THANK YOU. That's what I'm trying to say. I feel like it's just pointless to mark at lower value cause this customs nonsense doesn't seem to apply to us. However, I don't think it'll be bad for anyone to choose 1 or 2.

People in the US, do not stress. Pick 3. If you already picked another one, oh well; you're fine

The few orders I've put in on the kimchi site have always defaulted at "gift" and value of "25.99", so I mark it that every time. I think some US members just hear the stories about getting hit with customs, and they get a bit worried...and that is understandable. But in my opinion, there really is no need to! :)

Like, this is pretty cool, don't get me wrong. I also love Kimchi (Tangled is one of my favourite steelbooks). But I just don't see the attraction here? It's the same steelbook as the Zavvi release with a few extras?

As I say, it's down to opinion (and I respect your choices to buy this) but I'll hold out for WEA.

I think the biggest attraction is the limited nature. It sold out quicker than the HDN members could get it. There are only 700/300 available. That's what makes it a great grab. If they release WEA with a print run of 4000 - this would still be more sought after. These are even numbered.
