I don't think it matters if it's Disney biggest grossing film with regards to price drop as if people went to cinema and didn't like it they won't buy it but they still counted towards the grossing .

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced that first-day sales of Frozen Blu-ray discs and DVDs reached 3.2 million units. Amazon also announced that based on pre-orders alone, Frozen has become its best-selling kids' movie of all time on Blu-ray and DVD

That's sales of Blu-ray and DVD
They don't even have 3D Version in the USA on Blu-ray

There will eventually be a price drop at some stage with the Standard Blu-ray and DVD but I doubt that will happen with the Steelbook

Unless Frozen Steelbook Print run is very high but we don't know for sure what the Steelbook print run is

ill get my coat lol
just saying that cimena grossing doesnt always count for high post sales , well doesnt work other way round
fight club didnt do brilliant at the cinema i think but gained a huge following in dvd sales

I reordered it using the 10% code and some points so at least it's not too pricey. I haven't seen the film yet so I didn't want to pay £25 for it but hopefully it will be worth it.

Debating whether or not I should take the plunge with the 10% code. Is there a rough estimation when Zavvi start to charge my card? Thanks.

SHOULD be in the next 3-5 days, maybe even a day sooner. Although, Zavvi has been postponing a lot lately, so that's also a possibility. I don't think that will happen with this release, because everyone else is releasing there's as scheduled. If I had to guess, it will be Wednesday or Thursday... Hope this has helped.

Just as a general rule (at least in my experience), Zavvi can charge you as many as 5-7 days before release and as little as 2-3 days before release.

Code PREBLU10 works on this for 10% off

Thanks man, placed an order for a few pre-order items. Unless there's a bunch of stock of Frozen steels, I'm thinking it'll sellout soon. Check out the damage Zavvi outlet has done on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/PreOrder-Fr...d-Edition-Steelbook-Blu-ray-New-/331128082416

AFAIK, price drop will not go much lower than $19.99 especially with sales up the roof, I went through several stores that had low quantities on friday, but for those in the know, release week is usually the time to cash in on Disney bluray deals especially when a coupon is involved. I got a blu-ray/DVD combo pack from TRU for $7.99 after coupons.
