Well you can still get the australian release here for not much more: http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/dvd/...digital-copy-limited-edition-steelbook/698914

Thank you for that :)

It works out as about £28 to uk which is very good. They are also will send when they get stock. Zavvi emailed me they were getting more if they don't might go for that one. I only ordered my first ever non uk set the other day of looper but prefer to get them when I can :)

I am pretty sure some people just like the steelbook and the film.

I don't buy anything because it's worth money because once I have it I won't sell it's so it's pretty irrelevant it's worth. Only that I liked the film and I personally think it's a lovely steelbook.

I was not trying to contradict anyone, but this is the email I just got from Zavvi

I have removed name etc

Hello .....

Thank you for getting in touch about steelbook stock.

I can see that we have made orders with our suppliers for the Frozen 3D steelbook which should arrive with us soon.

If there is anything else that we can do, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help.

Kind regards,
Ryan

Did you ask Zavvi where exactly they were hoping to get these new extra copies from??

I'd trust Zavvi more than anyone. All we do if feed information we are given from Zavvi. If we get conflicting information, this is no fault of our own. It is just different Zavvi staff feeding us different info.

I wouldn't blame anyone on HDN for Zavvi's inconsistent messaging from staff. I'm subjected to it every time I email they them, same as everyone else! lol I would bet good money on Zavvi getting no more copies of this though! That's just my opinion, I don't really care - I've got my copy (for £22 rather than the £50+ off eBAY!) I don't even want it! lol But my daughter does, so it stays! :D

My thoughts with this is that it is one of their generic, pre-made responses. This was probably the same message they've been sending out since before Frozen even released.

For example: I had a payment issue with Bambi. When I sent them a query, the response was along the lines of, "We had a problem when we tried to charge your paypal account. We're sorry, but you will need to cancel the order and place a new order." I then sent another query asking for further explanation because there was plenty of money in my paypal account and the response was identical. My next message was asking them if they could please try charging my account again, that the item i had ordered was sold out so I could not re-order at that time. Again, the same EXACT response. Finally, Bambi went back on sale so I sent them a final query asking them to "Please cancel my order". And again (to my surprise lol), I received the EXACT SAME response from them saying they had issues when trying to charge my account.

I'm not saying this to complain about Zavvi's lack of service, just saying that the response about having more copies of Frozen on the way is probably the same response many customers have received for the last month or two in regards to ANY query made about Frozen. Very seldom have I queried Zavvi and received a non-generic response that someone actually typed out themselves at that moment.

With all of this being said, my semi-educated guess is that they are out of stock for good. Hopefully for Flash this is not the case.

I hope this has been helpful in some kind of way...

Let's be thankful that at least Zavvi gives some insider updates to HDN. Try the same with amazon or other retailers, you will either burn your fingers or be wasting your time.

Don't bring Kimchi or Blufans into the equation as they are smaller outfits run by few people compared to Zavvi.

nobody thought dusk till dawn would come back in stock- it did.

nobody thought lady and the tramp would come back in stock- it did.

nobody thought wreck it ralph would come back in stock- it did.

why is it so far fetched that frozen could come back?

I don't think it's far fetched, but I think this title is a lot more popular than the titles you mentioned. While it's not impossible, I think it's highly unlikely.

i think zavvi could easily sell another 1000 of these.

with the instant sell out of this across the world it wouldnt surprise me if there were more on the way

Picked this up from the post office today, had to pay 10 GBP in tax/customs, the box was pretty beat up, they told me I cannot check the package first and then pay for it, so it was a bit of a gamble. Opened it up, minty mint! :scat:

Finally going to be watching this today.

*golf clap* considering I didn't start collecting until about a month ago & recently finding out about the zavvi website, that doesn't really help me. Thanks anyway

Anytime :)

Also, interesting decision to join HDN 2 months before apparently starting to collect steelbooks! There were plenty of discussions on-going in January about this steel (and February... and March)

I big thanks to Zavvi for this Frozen title and helping me fund part of my future Blufans & Kimchi orders. It's amazing the value this item has gained in 2 weeks. Now to get my hands on Zavvi Thor for a reasonable price.

lol im actually annoyed i cancelled this. the cheapest i can get it for now is around £60 on ebay lol

do you think these prices will drop in the near future?
