Even with the 3D disc, it is still too expensive. For a 3D steelbook, I would expect a £22 price tag. I know £3 isn't that much of a difference, it still ireitates me. I have heard great things of this film, but its still a no from me.:(

I can see myself cancelling this a week before release. I doubt it's limited like the other new releases (MU and planes) I'm guessing with a high print run, this steelbook with average art wont sell out.

I suspect this will be the case seeing that its a new release.
Large stock amounts just kill any sense of urgency for pre-ordering.

Screw the bonus crap. As long as it has the 3d disc in too im happy!

Screw the 3D crap :shoot:. I want my Bonus Extras Disc :D

3D Watch once
2D repeat viewings

Also 3D not good for your Eyes long Term and 2D Picture Quality is always better
Note I have top of the Range Plasma 3D TV
3D is a waste of time long term
Best Picture Quality always is with 2D

Blu-Ray
Most important is Picture Quality and Sound and Good Extras

3D EEK!

I don't really think they've perfected 3D yet and most of the time it's not worth the extra money. I never feel like I'm missing out on anything when watching a quality film in 2D

Do we even know if there will be a release that has a 2nd special features disc included? Seems like the age of the blu ray discs and their massive data capacity has kinda made the whole 2nd special feature disc concept obsolete.

Can't think of anything other than Prometheus but petty sure £25 is average UK rate for 3D steels.
Anything more would REALLY be taking the piss

Just what I was thinking.
Disney rarely have 2nd discs in their blu's. I think. Beauty and the Beast may have been the last/most recent movie to have a bonus disc

Pixar on the other hand, love their bonus discs, but said discs are usually except from UK releases

Tell that to the Hobbit ;)

Pixar blu-rays seems to always get a second bonus disc with special features - even recent releases. Brave did, Monsters University did. Disney Classics don't get them anymore, I think yeslek is correct in Beauty and the Beast being the most recent. But they seem to be pulling out all the stops for Frozen. There was a really nice collector's edition of the soundtrack with 2 discs, which definitely never happens. And it seems to be on its way to being their most critically and financially successful release in quite a while, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a bonus disc included. Especially with talk of a possible extended edition?? :oohyeah:

Extras still to be confirmed both UK and USA
USA looks as if there is a bonus music bundle

I will be looking out for info and when I see official details I will post the info

Everyone has a different opinion. I agree that I will not use the 3d as often as the 2d but I will definitely not watch the extras more than once, if even that many times. Everyone has their own preference. Mine is 3d over extras so I am very happy.

Well if I had a choice it would be Extras....in 3D!:p. But seriously, it would be nice to get a release that induced both a 3D and a bonus disc. But glad this comes with the 3D

PQ on plasma TV's are much poorer than LED TV's anyway IMO.

The 3D on my TV is amazing. (100 times better than any cinema infact)
To say 2D PQ is better is utter nonsense. In fact I find the 3D on mine to be sharper.

That is subjective to opinion, however most picture enthusiasts would disagree whole heartily with your statement. Plasmas produce a more filmic and natural picture than LED. I own a panny vt65 and it knocks any tv off the planet in terms of picture quality. But hey each to their on i guess

Let me guess you have one or both if those brands lol. Isn't Panasonic phasing out plasma and moving to led?

Back to Frozen steelbook this film looks good and best Disney have done in a while they expect Frozen to be best money maker yet
I hope its glossy and please no 3D logo on front artwork
