DVD's are not worth the plastic they are made out of anymore.

I dont agree. I still buy dvd's and there are a lot of good movies that you can only get on dvd. They have served us well since 97 (in the UK) and they are still going strong. And just like vhs deserve to be cherished, especially from people that were born after 97 or earlier elsewhere in the world. As that's all they have know. For me I still have a big place in my heart for vhs, betamax and video 2000 and I get a very big warm feeling when I think about them and the connection with my youth. I was particularly gutted when vhs vanished :( ! Sorry if sounds like a rant but it wasn't my intention it just my humble opinion.

Back on topic ;)

I have yet to see Frozen and I'm hoping its worth the outlay!

Used to buy DVDs all the time but since the mighty BLU emerged I haven't bought a DVD since about 2007. I don't think I've ever used the DVD disc that sometimes comes with the Blu-ray, if I can I usually just toss the DVD and stick in a special features or soundtrack disc anyways. Have I become a snob dissing DVD, I mean it's so beneath me now. EEK!

if you comparing the quality of most movies on blu ray with the dvd version and then looking at the price differences you know that the industry fooled us once again very well.

Looks like some got 20% code

Grabbed this with a -20% as well :scat:
Added a Only God Forgives steel and a lethal weapon box set. When you get a code, you better use it right

Interesting that the Zavvi mystery code terms and conditions state ...

Discount code not valid on Computing, electronic products, consoles, Multi-buys, Steelbooks & Pre-orders

They'll probably use this as an excuse to cancel everyone's orders ;)

this worked last night for me but didnt go ahead as already has orderded and the code was for less that i wanted but doesnt work today so they must of stopped codes for Frozen

Pretty much every Zavvi discount code says it excludes Pre-orders and Steelbooks. Thankfully that is rarely the case and only seems to ever apply to some Pre-orders and Steelbooks. I literally can't remember the last Zavvi steelbook I bought without some kind of discount.

If anyone got a spare code for me it would be greatly appreciated as I will have to send these outside the UK and it would greatly reduce any customs charges!
