Is the quality of the lenti like the Lion King one? I have the latter in hand now it it has very low quality. Picture not sharp and kind of low resolution. And there is nothing wrong with my eyes....
I haven't got the Lion King one but this is pretty low quality. Exactly as you described. I really don't know how anyone can say these are better lentis than the Kimchi (which is pretty blurry anyway) and the Blufans one.
KimchiDvD Lenticular is a blurry mess. FACT. Also except FA, I think Zavvi and MediaMarlet are the key retailers releasing Lenticular magnet Steelbooks. Others are doing Lenticular slips.
This is.certainly not low quality and the Steelbook itself is miles ahead of the overrated snowflaky Blufans and WWA Steelbooks.
I agree about Kimchi. It's blurry mostly because it's just too dark but the movement is better. Whilst this Zavvi one is brighter and you can actually make out the characters it's still blurry and has little to no depth or movement. The steel itself is very good and I can see why people prefer it over the WWA. I like both.
It's good Zavvi and MediaMarkt are doing lentis. The blame lies solely at the door of the studios/distributors. If Universal and Sony can make great lentis for Incredible Hulk and the Spiderman films then Disney can do the same. They just don't and even saying that they are a step up from the previous Disney lentis are damning them with faint praise.
The reason you got this in A Card mailer is because they where shipped from (The Hut Group warehouse) and is why it was sent by courier and registered post
The Hut Group warehouse don't have the White Steelbook Boxes
When Zavvi ship from the warehouse in Channel Islands and the other European warehouses that's who use the Zavvi Steelbook White Boxes and is where most of the steelbooks get shipped from
Zavvi use the Hut Group warehouse rarely but does have a advantage sometimes of using a courier and is tracked delivery you often get box sets that are on special offer often sent from the Hut Group instead from Channel Islands and you don't have to pay extra for tracked shipping

There can be a issue of getting your items delivered damaged with box sets packaging some can be very well protected and some are not good and it's luck to be honest what packaging they use.
Steelbooks in A1 Card Mailer is risky and Amazon UK also recently doing the same A1 Card Mailer instead of their previous steelbook packaging
Ideally Zavvi and Amazon UK should ship orders with the packaging Amazon Germany use as they are very good at protecting goods in transit

Mine came in a big box, the type that I normally receive for GB's or from Asia. It was nicely padded too but I don't expect to see this type of packaging from them again.
As @paulboland mentioned above, these have been dispatched from thehutgroup (their parent company) warehouse. I was even surprised to receive email notifications from Royal Mail when the postie was out for delivery and after the packages were delivered.
Received, passed "For Free" to a friend, just junk! Blufans steel KILLS this and anyone disagreeing obviously doesn't own that edition, so opinion irrelevant. Whether the lenti is better, who cares! this steel is BAD! original WWA is far superior!

There's a lot of polarizing views in this thread, I own the Olaf Blufans version and the previous Zavvi release and I'm impressed with how this turned out. The Blufans has the best finish but the snowflake design isn't really my bag, execution could be better on both Zavvi releases but the overall design is more appealing to me.
You should visit the GP to check your Blood Pressure level and specsavers on the way back home lol.
Disney improve the lenticular is good news as it means we might get better lenticular magnets with later Marvel re-releases

LOL at anyone saying this steelbook is better than the blufans. There is a reason this is still in stock. Will buy on ebay for less than cost.
Given that the two steelbooks are totally different, it seems pretty subjective to me. If you prefer the Blufans and that's the one you have, then just be happy and content.
Tell me about it mate , Brave & Frozen both in wrap a rounds from HUT and both damaged !
Tenner is possible via eBay but looks like not many bought this to resell. I remember the first UK release going for silly money many times surpassing the Blufans release. But off late it is not even selling at cost. I think we must all be extremely picky in 2017.
