The German version is even more expensive, so I don't understand your point :confused:

Actually it will possibly drop in price before release date. Also considering ES does not ship outside the UK, buying this via the GB is very costly upwards of 41 pounds. Shipping from amazon DE is no more than 4 Euro and in addition to the price drop which will most likely occur, the German version is the one to have for me. As seen previously, ES will most likely not reduce the price on this as they havent had any price reductions yet on any of their exclusives while amazon does all the time
 
lol just woke up and realised every single one of my orders for g i joe were cancelled this morning and i placed my order on the 10th of may.
 
since 128 were left in stock that means more peoples were cancelled and seriously this is becoming a joke, what if it someone that was sorting one of the GB'S out, its just crazy how this issue never gets sorted.
 
I am so pissed off right now, those were available because Play decided once again to charge my card early for these items, now call me crazy but I don't have £1900 just sat in my bank account so because the money wasn't their the joke of a company cancelled 70 of my orders for the GB! Angry is not the word right now, but unless this is resolved I will never be using Play again, this is beyond a f***ing joke.

already contacted them my copies were cancelled aswell but i figured it be a disaster for someone setting up a GB.

Only issue is ES have told me that its play messing up and not them and then play.com just does nothing about it.

Thats what happened the first time and second time my orders were cancelled because they tried to charge me earlier now this is the third time and i want to see what they say now.

Ultimately, I am buying from ES so it is down to them to sort this out as it is with any retailer I buy from, I don't care if they have to cancel all of the orders placed this morning to get mine back, that's what they should do because those who ordered this morning never should've even had the chance to in the first place.

They had better sort this out, I am so annoyed right now.

Yes you are right and have every reason to be annoyed.
Well its happened enough times now i think for some real action to be taken by play, its certainly a serious mater for alot of people so ES response this time should not just be its not our fault but play, if anything they can open there own website or sell on somewhere else if this cant be resolved as its seriously become a joke.
 
I'm completely concerned over the orders for these steels - they seem to be getting cancelled and charged at random, verification appearing at random and statuses changing all over the place. I've now got one GI charged and one still at pre-ordered, one H&G charged and one pre-ordered, verify buttons appeared once and then went away... I don't know what the hell is going on.

I've emailed ES letting them know that their reputation is taking a beating right now and suggesting they give serious consideration to selling elsewhere.

It looks like I've been charged as well. It's a bit wierd that Play is the only ones who does this! Suck that people who are hosting GBs are also been charged early and having their orders cancelled. This is not a good business practice by play and will lose a lot of custom. Hopefully those who are doing a GB gets things sorted out so a lot of other collector's won't be disappointed.

Exactly so if they really want to help the situation they certainly can so lets hope this time they get serious. And hopefully sort your situation out with the GB as that is not good at all.

Not a small company? Why haven't they got their own website then? Why pay to have a store on Play.com? Why pay Play.com commission?

Look at their location and you'll see they're not big at all!
