Has anyone noticed the black spot on the spine just after the E? I thought it was a scratch at first but I've just realised that it's on the stock photo. Seems like a pretty weird thing to have because it just looks like it shouldn't be there

I thought mine was a huge paint chip too. But mine is silver (as in the body of the steel showing) rather than black. I totally missed it in the mock up though.

Yeah, I spotted it last night when I took it out of the shrink wrap. I had that moment of screaming "noooooooooooooo!" in my head, then realised it wasn't a physical mark but more an imperfection in the artwork. And breathe...

I receieved two. One was mint, although seemed to have someone's pube underneath the seal. The other had a two inch hairline scratch similar to Jack Reacher, but in the same place my Batman SteelBooks had. It wasn't on the other G.I. Joe, thankfully

It is not like that on the mock up, just wondering if anyone else's is?
I can see from Sunny's pics in the op that his copy looks like it is also.

Hands up who faked a HMV Star Trek steelbook... Now keep your hands up and stay tuned for lets say 48 hours for confirmation when you can put your hands down.


I have watched this twice, and found it better the second time I watched it... It's not a great movie but I found it enjoyable and plan to watch it a lot more times (that's why I bought the very nice looking steelbook)
I look forward to what they'll do with the 3rd movie.

I can confirm that mine is identical to that. Which I'd not noticed. Shows how much attention I paid...
