... and I don't watch the DVDs, so I'm glad it only has the 2 disks on the right.

i never use dvd's either, but the space they occupy can be handy more times than u think - for example, Target in usa have an exclusive bonus disc which i plan to swap out the dvd disc with

Well i hope my copy turns up tomorrow,ES despatched my 1st copy on the 17th and still waiting and then had sent replacement copy posted out on the 29th and watch my luck it'll turn up and be damaged.

Don't give up hope mate.. My one dispatched on the 17th arrived Monday,then the one I ordered last Friday arrived Tuesday..

I won't bud, my gut feeling that it'll be here today. The thing that annoys me more is the fact that I had a parcel shipped to me from US on saturday which I got this morning and have had deliveries from both amazon uk (SSD) and de both shipped Monday and already got both so where are ES shipping from even my last 2 orders from ES took between 7 and 10 days. I know the films not everybody's cup of tea but I don't mind a couple of hours of mindless action plus the lad is nagging to see it.

Got my copy in 2 days from dispatch so no problems in es shipping times for me,but it was very tightly packed in a small box with no other protection(all most vacuum packed)lol. Luckily steel arrived mint

Right here...Unfortunately. Not sure how I can get it back in place in the hub. It's pretty tough when it's 2 disc as opposed to a single.

I know the ES exclusive steel has a spot white on (at least) cobra's mask that isn't on my walmart version. I'll try and capture later with some pics.

That's the reflection in the photo how it was taken. Im looking at my Walmart steel and its identical to the ES cover in every sense.

Interesting, my Walmart has the exact same flaw as the ES version. If you look closely, you can see a speck right above the E in Retaliation on the spine. Weird...

My Walmart copy is definitely different from ES'. Even without pics I can tell you Walmart's has "3D" on the cover and on the spine. Walmart's also says "Limited Edition 2013" at the bottom right corner of the cover. The reds used are different from one another and on ES' *Cobra's mask has like a spot white over it not used on the walmart version I have. Will take pics when I get some daylight to try and show this difference.

IMO no version is complete ... each has something missing if ure a completionist.... but the best base edition has to be the Chinese BluFans release

However i had to mod mine with contet from 2 other editions b4 i was satisfied maybe i will post pics of my Ultimate Edition when i get my main computer fiixed

Hey thanks for clarifying, I was referring to the actual art not text my bad I still cant tell what you mean when describing Cobra Commander, it seems identical. But ill wait for your comparison pics.

Can you also check the spine and see if you have the same flaw as I described? Seems to be a manufacturing defect if my hunch is right.

Walmart CA Vs. ES

The Spines:- Both have the little defect above the "e" in Retaliation. The inside of the "o" in GI JOE is grey on ES version:

I'm not sure exactly who shared the print run with ES or Walmart but hope this helps with some things to look for when no j-card is present. Cheers.

Mine also has this imperfection as shown. As you say must've been a manufacturing defect.
