Voted for the NEW slipcovers, although im not thrilled about having 3 instead of 2 to choose from.... It wouldve been nice to have a Nights Watch slip too (since the sigil is all black,it wouldve looked awesome).

It is a total waste for everyone who is a fan.

When its all said and done and you have the "complete" collection, you show your friends your collection and say,

"well here's season one, here's season two, and here's season 3 which happens to be exactly the same as season one, etc"

and then your friend looks at you and says, "why the hell did they do that, that doesn't even make sense"

Then all you can do is shake your head in disappointment and say "I know"

Think of the future. Lets not wreck it for everyone.

I can understand that people are disappointed they released the big three in the first two seasons, but exclusives are meant to be exclusive, they gain value. If I miss out, I shell out the cash if I really want something. I'd rather have a collectible than something common; that's the whole point I do this. Because I like to collect things. I don't like to be forced to rebuy stuff that I already spent money on that will looks like duplicate copies when I line up all the seasons in the end. UGH

I can't hate on people who want targaryen and stark to be released, but I can blame best buy for making a huge mistake and completely sabatoging what they had going for themselves; true exclusives.

Anyways. Apologies for the rant; just frustrated. Hopefully common sense prevails.

Finally noticed this, went on Facebook to vote (for the new houses of course) and I'm shocked to see the old houses winning by 10,000 to 5,000 for the new houses.

Those are old news, people! If you want them, you can go and buy them (for a price, I understand). Bring on the new stuff!

I think the most interesting dynamic are the pure numbers. Lets say 25,000 people vote. How many have bought the blu ray? How many will? How many bought from best buy? How big was the run on the exclusives? How could they let a POSSIBLE fraction of the sales decide the product? Has anyone also noticed the inclusion of the word MAY?

And there is no way Best Buy will ignore the chance to cash in on these types and of course the ones who missed out the first time around. The popular vote always wins.

Exact Reprints are a terrible idea. I disagree with those who want a reprint. Imagine Iron Man Futureshop being reprinted. Name any grail steelbook you own and imagine a vote to get it reprinted. Think about it, you guys might be happy about getting Targaryen and Stark now but what if we never get all or one of Tully, Stannis and Martell because of this stupid vote? In the long term you will regret this reprint. I got 2 words for Facebook, Best Buy and anyone who wants this to happen!!!

I don't know as long as they Don't do the faces, I guess depending on how many Books they write it won't matter as at the rate of 2 or 3 Slips per Season there is always going to be a chance of the reprint, as there are currently 7 books (So 7 seasons minimum hopefully) and how many great houses are there. Bold are the ones already released.

Yes, it would be a waste for you people who have bought all three (Stark, Lannister and Targaryen) sets.

But for me personally it wouldn't be a waste since I don't have that Targaryen slipcover.

How if game of thrones lasts as long as a song of fire and ice does then either they will rerelease them again or rerelease new houses as said before if the company hadn't been as greedy as to release two a season, then some people wouldn't have had missed out on some slips, due to money etc.

Don't get me wrong I want the new covers, but Best buy are always going to rerelease as 3 house a season is just to much.

But the new covers kick ass and imo look a lot nicer than the others.
