Seen the first 5 episodes now and must admit it is growing on me. The characters and character development is really great. Not that much action so far but I have a feeling that will change.

Anyone have some views on this series? :scat:

You can say that again. Zero filler in this episode.

They are seriously getting sh*t moving now which tbh they have to with only 4 episodes left (well just over 4 and half with runtime) and one last season after so I can't see much filler happening.

Also the bran moment was awesome and the fact he tells her about the wedding which was weird because just before he said that I thought to myself the last time we see the tree was at her wedding and it was a lovely looking scene given the circumstances and he literally talks about how nice it was lol BUT he did act like a bit of a robot from the second he looked at sansa when they met again lol

Theory on Bran:
Its not a new theory... But after last night, its seems to suggest it may be true.

Bran is the 3 eyed raven. Not just now, but always.

The OLD 3 eyed raven (Played by Max von Sydow) is Bran also (but when he is older). It becomes a very complicated time loop and stuff I can't exactly explain.
But it sort of makes sense.

There were a couple things that Bran said in this last episode that seems to really bring home this theory.

Do you guys agree?

Yeah I fully agree mate,

I've thought that from toward the end last season (think we spoke about this last year in the season 6 thread) but certain things he said in that episode really confirmed it to me and makes sense to me also but like you say it's hard to explain.
When you look back at the episode the door just before the older 3 eyed Raven dies you can just tell he's hiding the truth in facial expressions but for bran to work out over time or his brain will implode lol
Also explains why bran acts different now he's fully embracing the power and truth

Also can't wait for bran to tell John who he's related to

I'm also certain Sam is telling the whole story too

So just a heads up...
I'm sure some of you have heard about the HBO hack today?

A bunch of Game of Thrones spoilers are out there now on the interwebz.
Please don't post any in here. Lets keep this a safe zone.

If you are a fan of this show, I would encourage you NOT to look at comment sections of certain sites and other potential spoiler areas if you don't want this season ruined for you.

Thanks for the heads up ! I'll keep away from everything GoT then :) Usually I always do this every Monday morning before watching the new episode, but I guess I'll do this every day until the end of the season then ^^ I'm glad there's just 4 more weeks to go !

I hesitated about 5 minutes before opening your spoiler

I didn't actually hear about that but I'll be avoiding everything except this thread on Monday's

Amazing, was not excepting you to post anything with that word on lol

And that is still one of my favourite quotes along with the eating all the chicken lol

After all the hoopla and talk about how wonderful Game of Thrones is I decided to get that free month of HBO Now and start watching from the very first season. I don't get it though, why does everyone like this show so much? It really is slow and doesn't have a lot of anything special in it. I mean I don't mind slow as I was big into The Sopranos which was slow and I loved it, I really am trying to like this but it's really hard. So far I've seen the first four episodes of the first season and I'm like come on now give me something good already.

Does it get any better? I want to get into a new show but I'm not sure if this is it or not.

YES IT DOES.
At the start... Its hard because there are SO MANY characters and its hard to keep track of everything going on sometimes...
But if you keep with it, you wont be sorry.

Finish the first season and you'll be hooked. (hopefully you haven't been spoiled on certain things)

No worries, I've not heard nor seen any spoilers for this series. I guess I'll stay the course then. I just hope it starts to get more interesting.

If you still don't like it after the end of the first season... then i guess stop.
But I think you'd be the first person I've ever known who did then. haha

Gosh, I'm jealous. I wish I could be you and watch all the episodes again for the first time. I've seen the entire series (so far) twice already. Actually I think I've watched the first season 3 times. haha

Dude this is like the first time I've seen you use an avatar with anything other than a crow or raven in it. Wow!

As @kaw says just stick with it for the first season. At the minute your just into building the characters, and there are a lot of them, but things change at episode 8 ;)
