I agree. This could either be the most awesome set in your collection or the biggest plastic disaster since Dome. I'll have to wait and see for this amount of money

Resin could be a possibility, for sure. Then again, i wouldn't be surprised if Amazon decided to go for something heavier, and do fans of the show a solid.

I really do not think that HBO would try to pull some poor quality packaging like Paramount did with Under the Dome.

I only mentioned it due to being a bit gun shy of 'collector's packaging' after ordering that Under the Dome set.

Im expecting it to be plastic, so anything other than that would be a bonus. For the money Id like it to be resin or something along those lines as when you compare it to the Walking dead fishtank (which was cheaper) with the 5 zombie heads, the tanks, the light up feature etc this set does look very simple if its gonna just be a hollow plastic 'gravestone' ...Only time will tell I suppose...

The video was made in July before they even had the renderings posted. I'll be fine either but what I really want is a season 1 and 2 that is similar to this. The OCD in me wants symmetrical cases. Season 1 The Throne. Season 2 Kings Landing? ( or any iconic theme)

With the 10% off the standard edition at Zavvi I can't justify paying this much for the dragon case. To be honest with the money saved I could go on the HBO store and get a nice collectable from there.
