Did anyone have a problem when playing the Germany release disc, all the way through the film there were two white icon boxes at the top right hand of the television screen that I couldn't figure out how to remove...

It wasn't on the actual screen the film was on but on the black bar.

It was only on this disc because I played other blu-rays last night and it didn't appear on them.

I've had the same boxes appear on other films to. They are very annoying but I think only zooming in so there's out of view is only way to get rid of them.

Are you sure it wasn't Picture in Picture mode. Sometimes you have to switch the option off in your Blu-ray player. Certain films sometimes put the icons on screen if a PIP mode is available.

I get that all the time when watching region B films. I don't know how to get rid of them either. One is for Picture in picture

Cant see this dropping that low tbh. This is the only world exclusive of this film in steelbook and sold by amazon.de. An increase in sales with todays price drop will only appeal to the wider world to grab the remainder of stock and whatever if any are left will sell at the higher price.
