Thehut and zavvi had specific steelbook 10% codes that worked on pre-orders if you bought more than 1, it was steel10 or steel2 or something like that, but I think it's expired.

Sometimes you get lucky and the one off codes you get will work with pre-orders even when it says they won't. My last one with sendit (which was the 11% code you get 1 year after your first order with them) a few days ago worked with preorders.

I agree. I think I'm about to do the same thing... But the price is so nice though!

I can buy this one later. I was gonna go with it, but I am leaning away now. Too many other great steelbooks comming out. I can't buy everyone of them.

It mentions it comes with an ultra violet copy, does that mean 2 discs or maybe an itunes code ?

Wait. Ghostbusters is certified a 12 now?
Sure it has some mild sex references in, but they go right over the top of kid's heads. They sure did when I saw this at the cinema was a kid, when it was a PG.
It's funny that violence is so accepted in the mainstream and doesn't seem to faze the BBFC and MPAA, but the thought of sex? "Ooh....we must protect our young!"

Anyway, this is THE steelbook to end all Steelbooks for me. Can't wait to grab it.
All I need now is a Gremlins one (not the awful white French one) to go with it. And a Ghostbusters 2 of course.

UV is only a code that you will get on a slip of paper (no extra disc) that you use on the flixster website. You can then stream it when you want on most devices nowadays, or you can download it (file size will probably be between 1 and 2 gigs)

Everytime you add a code for a UV movie it just stores it in your flixster database to watch when you want. You can share the movie with up to 5 friends and family (not sure if this is with every title though).

It's cool to have the option to do this.. But there's only so many times you can watch a movie (even Ghostbusters) and If I want to watch a movie I'm always going to choose the blu if I can... I'm sure this is great for some though.
