Coliseum looks more visible in the German version. Plus lack of banners in my opinion gives it a slight edge. Does anybody know is the dick is region free ?

I sure hope dick is region free... would be a shame if it was region locked and wouldn't work in other parts of the world when travelling

Found this on Amazon.de still for only 14.99Euro...can't wait to have this in hand. Although this was my second choice on cover art, I really like this and how clean it is.

Ye, im pretty sure thats because of it's a german release.

I'm not a massive fan of this release. Prefer the Dutch 10th anniversary edition with the good banner.

I swapped the back of this one, with the cleaner back from the recent US Gladiator steelbook. Used the Dutch spine as well, as that one isn't reversed.

Ash can you tell me if the paint finish on the US Steelbook is the same as the DE Steelbook, ie smooth?

They're very similar. The German one might be a tiny bit smoother, but it's marginal.

I've got the UK Gladiator steelbook but have to say that front cover artwork is lovely - must resist!
