We’re celebrating Godzilla’s past and present with an officially licensed recreation screen print of Godzilla 1954’s original theatrical movie poster and Juan Ramos’ print for Godzilla Minus One!

Godzilla 1954 is a literal blast from the past. With Godzilla 1954, Toho, Ishiro Honda, and the rest of the talented team behind the movie created the world’s most popular kaiju as well as a powerful allegory and symbol for creatives and storytellers to use as a vehicle for decades to come. The original theatrical poster is an awesome look at Godzilla’s first appearance and Japanese movie posters, and we’re excited to be able to bring this piece of history back as a meticulously crafted screen print!

Moving to the present, Juan’s newest print for the recent Godzilla Minus One brings us directly into the battle as an under-resourced Japan tries to deal with the newly mutated monster. Minus One’s Godzilla is purely destructive, with one of the most intense heat rays in Godzilla history, and Juan’s print captures the killer kaiju in all of its frightening glory. As a special nod to both Godzilla Minus One Minus Color and the time period, Juan has chosen a black and white palette for his print, which we’re stoked with.
