I don't think Franky loves the '98 Zilla as much as I do. Personally, it's one of my favourite creature feature flicks. If you remove the name 'Godzilla' from it, it's an awesome giant monster movie. It's just not an awesome Godzilla movie.

And I agree with you, the movie is not that bad, not bad at all.
It was a decent monster movie. Maybe not a great addition to the Godzilla franchise, but I never really minded the film. I thought Jean Reno was one of the highlights in that. 'YOU CALL THIS FRENCH ROAST?'
Not a film I would get in a steelbook, but I like the choice of cover art.

Well... I wouldn't buy this film... I don't know if anyone would...
But I must say that at least this film is more watchable than the 2014 Gareth Edwards film.
