Just saw the US FuturePak... the emboss and gloss finished is just sick!!! Lovin' it... I couldn't careless about the roar effect but would love to have the same finished for KR... or should I be ordering the US version too just to be safe since we're not sure about finished of KR... ?

Go with the Roar :woot:
The roar is ok, but once the batteries die then you have a dead button on the front...:(
Plus good luck to any UK, European Ninja ordering this from Amazon.com and it not arriving like a bent banana....  Their so fond of their bubble mailers! :mooning:

Ordered from Kimchi! :woot: Don't care about the roar....:p

Depends on how often you want to hear the Roar! Those button batteries cost next to nothing, so, replacing is not an issue unless you keep it sealed!

The roar is ok but I actually prefer it without.
Reminds me too much of a tacky musical greetings card..
Plus I'm not taking the risk with Amazon.com. :banghead:
And as mad as it sounds it's actually cheaper from Kimchi. And it's great to know it will arrive minty,mint....:D :woot:

What about battery corrosion? That might be an issue too.

Missed cooey's vid and pics but just googled some pics of it :woot: wow! looks amazing!

Not super keen on Taiwan slip with the blu banner and masses of 3D logo's.. so probably go for this one. I want to order but just wondering what their slip will look like.

Whats the best cheapest postage option from Kimchi? I have the US one pre ordered but as you say i expect it to arrive battered, get a full refund and throw it in the bin! Its about £10 more for the kimchi one with kpacket delivery

Price from Amazon came to $31.99 for the Futurepak (I see it's dropped in price now) then gift wrap, import fee, shipping on top...came to $53.85

Kimchi came to with k-packet, $49.80 and the assurance of knowing it will arrive in mint condition..

Amazon.com price now with Gift Wrap = $51.45
Minus Gift Wrap = $47.96

Kimchi = $49.80 / With enough bubble wrap and a box to stop a nuclear blast...

So not much between them now apart from peace of mind knowing it will arrive mint and minus the Roar of course!

Are customs more likely to pick on Amazon or Kimchi? Either way id just be over the UK £15 limit - i dont even collect fancy cases anymore but this just looks so damn good!

If you use EMS from Kimichi then you will most likely get stung by customs if you dont use their mark value down on invoice option.
I used K Packet as it only takes 5-6 days max for me last time I used it, while Amazon US takes anything between 7 - 14 days.
