I don’t like the back of DL B so putting the Back of A on with the front of B looks amazing. But then that also makes the front of A with the back of B look much better too

I’m really confused on why Manta haven’t done this considering the tone and colours completely compliment each when you swap them around.

But I’m more annoyed they didn’t make the full slip the booklet or OC art. It infuriates me sometimes that they do this. But then I also think the steelbook is really bad this time. Like i hate it. Slips are the winners for this release but they’ve just not put the thought in on what suits what

The FAC DL is so much better. It's literally the rear of DLA and the front of DLB(plus the back as th3 flip). I put the mediamrkt steel in there as a WWA, which I was hoping to change for this.

but.... eughh. Not a great steel. The OC art should've been the steel. Would've matched kong really well. Not sure if I'll get this or not. DLB is definitely the best though.

why would it be "so much better" if its merely the artworks swapped around? also the colors on the filmarena lenti front look quite a bit worse in direct comparison imo.. the full gloss and debossed wea alone makes this much better overall

You misunderstand. It has the best pieces from both DLs here on one slip.. how could that not be "so much better"? Most people here have literally said combine A & B to make the best slip. Same thing. The front lenti colours are great imo. I have it. The steel sucks though, agreed. Which is why I changed it. This one will be better quality, for sure, but the artwork on the mediamrkt wea is also so much better imo.

they said swapping them would fit better colorwise... but the colors of the filmarena front are totally different and while its definitely subjective, for me they are a lot worse than mantas dlb, so its definitely not better at all imo.. and the mediamarkt may or may not have better art, the manta will look better regardless given the amount of care put into finish and bossing

Sure, maybe the slips could be better as several have noted. But the artwork on both DL slips is still good.

You’re right, though, that the steelbook is the real problem. The front is okay. But this back is ridiculous for an expensive premium edition. The annoying bright yellow text dominates the back since there is nothing else going on that’s remotely interesting. I get the appeal of wraparound art. But not if one side is a total dud.

Let’s campaign to get Manta to swap the Steel and OC art around.

That awful 90s video game looking steelbook will suit the OC better and we get the much much much better artwork on the steel. Hell even swap the full slip with the steel, that works much better too


Come on manta please change it around. I’ll take that change over swapping the DL back arts around. As much as they would look better

Yup, I like the front of the steel too. Not mad keen on the one-click art as to my eyes it's just a bit murky, washed out, Godzilla is a bit lost in the image... So if it got swapped around I wouldn't be over the moon about that. But each to their own.

Yeah, I'm leaning toward the DLB, but I do love that Full Slip, and I have a sneaky suspicion it is going to have some stellar embossing going down on that thing.
