Tx!And here's another bargain I found in Cex last year for £6 mint and then fitted with the 3D disk. This has the be the best embossing I've seen on a steelbook.
If anyone doesn't have this, they need to pick it up. I don't care if you don't like a movie, this is one of my absolute favorite steelbook designs.I see this is being re-released in July on Amazon Italy and it's going to be glossy and embossed like the original......

Agree. The movie is poor. But as steelbooks go, this is a must have for any collector. If anyone doesn't have this, they need to pick it up. I don't care if you don't like a movie, this is one of my absolute favorite steelbook designs.

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand the rational behind what you've just said. If the movie is trash, why collect the steelbook at all? It's movie first before the metal case isn't? This may have a great cover art, embossing/debossing, and whatnot, but I will still not purchase it unless my only intention is to resell for profit. Otherwise, it's a waste of shelf space because I have zero interest to watch it. (Not bashing, I am just merely asking the logic because you said it is a "must have for any collector".)Agree. I was talking about true steelbook collectors.

And that quote right there shows why you don't 'get it'.
So if my interest is only to collect, but not to sell, then I am not a "true" steelbook collector?

Everybody collects for different reasons. I have a few movies that I don't plan on watch because I couldn't pass up on the artwork. This is one of them. Ignore the movie. This steelbook is one of the single greatest uses of the steelbook medium as art. The debossing and embossing and finish of this are stunning. As a steelbook collector, not just a movie collector, it really is a must have for the collection.
It seems we are mutual on the matter of scalpers. I was just wondering your definition of "True Steelbook Collector" from your previous post, and I think I got a fair understanding now based on @dfoles response.Selling for profit is considered 'scalping'.
You're not collecting stuff if you're moving it on again......

I am sorry, I cannot ignore the movie. The first decision process whether I should spend the money is if the movie was actually worth the watch, second the replay value, then finally the artworks and such. It appears you rely heavily on the appearance of the steel alone, hence the art, not the movie.
