St James HMV has closed down now, I think the princes street one is the only one to miss the chop. The rose street Fopp had a few priest steelbooks, and one copy of battleship, dark knight rises & not much else unfortunately.

The one in Ocean Terminal too? Wow. I've always liked Fopp, they've had so many different releases on display that just are hidden away in other stores (I guess that's how they get some of their goods). But I've never really checked Fopp for steelbooks.

Yeah St James' HMV is closed :(

I saw a few in HMV at Fort Kinnaird a couple of weeks ago.
I'll go into the Princess Street store today if I have time.

Last time I was in Fopp (a few months ago) I saw a few Green Hornet steels there too (but they were £20+) but managed to find a War Horse steel for £5 :)

Warning:

Do not buy this as the the sticky glues have left loads of residue. Mine is messed with paper residue on many spots. It doesn't come off even when gently rubbed using soap water. Going to return this as a faulty good as HMV doesn't accept refund unless the item is faulty.

For your record, customer service is non-existent and store people have no clue about it and when HMV will be back online. If HMV goes this way it will collapse in few months.

You can buy a product that is literally called "sticky stuff remover" I believe we got ours from the Kleeneeze book (similar to Avon) and it gets rid of all residue

Mine was like this too. I just popped off the front and back then most of the residue came off with hot water and a paper towel. A little soap got the rest. It took longer than I expected, but it looks perfect now:)

Just been into HMV in Kingston had one left on shelf which again had torn shrink wrap and a bit battered. Took to the till to see if had any others out back but came back with an even worse copy. Asked about further reduction as we're still £15 , buy said no as disk will be fine !! It's the case I want perfect otherwise I would get an amaray copy !!

HMV customer service is clueless about their own policies. I checked in-store with few guys and they said refund policy is back in action as they were out of administration and there is a dedicated customer support for online. Ask the same questons in the till and they tell a different story.

Got a copy with torn shrink wrap for 14. There are 2 more copies left at the Oxford circus store but both are a bit bruised up.
Was looking at those at the weekend. They've been there for months but was seriously considering getting one this time around but just couldn't bring myself to take the punt, and I'm glad I didn't now too with what you've described about the glue!
