Thought I'd cancelled it but glad I didn't as it's really v. nice :thumbs:
Apart from the discreet gloss finish there is some well placed embossing on the title plaque and on the lock plate which has been given a very shiny brushed metallic look that really catches the light.
Embossed vents on the front and it really doesn't matter that the hinges are flat as they have cleverly used a de-bossed framing border to represent the locker door.
For me personally it's a beauty and therefore 8/10.

I will get this but I'm waiting till its no longer listed as a pre order item so I can use the 10% off discount code
I will have to wait until Monday or Tuesday for this to happen

I'll give it a whirl later just in case. But for this one, I think I'll wait for the price drop.

Update - the code expired on the 15th at 1 minute to midnight. ZVC5 is stil working for 5% off though - better than a smack in the nose as my Grandma would likely say :)

Got mine today and I guess I'm in the minority. I accepted that the front was a bit hokey for this film but the inside art isn't even from the movie. It's just the same photograph used for the cover of the US amaray except they blew it up (zoomed in) to make it bigger. Kinda boring and lazy IMHO.

Still happy I got it though. Great film and definitely an upgrade to my collection.

This one as one of the very best steelbooks from last year is available ATM in a promotion I haven't seen before at Zavvi - "2 steelbooks for GBP 14.99".
Unfortunately only 8 steels in the promotion but hopefully the start of things to come with others added in the future . . . fingers crossed :)
No good to me as I'm only missing one of the selection - "Real Steel" (after returning the copy I bought in error at pre-order) but would hope for others from 2015 that I'm missing including "You're Next", "Three Burials...", "Blue Valentine', "Wolfcop", "Out of the Furnace", "The Orphanage", "Naked Lunch", "Bridge on the River Kwai", "Shaun the Sheep" and the "Back to the Future" standalones.
