Yep, @zavvi lies again, this was clearly NOT shipped on Tuesday, I've never had zavvi pre-order steel arrive later than Saturday, and that's from steels shipped on Thursdays and even Fridays. Clearly these were held back.

Good news though is my Zoom amaray 3D version arrived today, and that was posted yesterday on Friday !, so I will be watching this tonight.

As for those cretins at zavvi, why did you hold off on these and not be honest to your customers, ie these were not posted when you told me and many others they were ?

Not sure if i'll want to keep the steel now.

Exactly, companies lie and we're always fine with it.
It's not just Zavvi, check out other threads like the one of SOTD.
And the funny part is, they are getting away with it.
A user gets banned, companies just can continue posting and advertise here.
Different rules apply and I'm ok with it. I'm also used to write Zavvi's customer support every two weeks or so.

With the reliability of my local postal service, I wouldn't say that! I recently arranged for the re-delivery of an item for a Wednesday, and they didn't actually deliver it until the following Monday!

Anyway, the postie has just been round for today, and no sign of my copy either

Well like I said earlier my 4K one arrived this morning from Zoom to watch tonight.
After these lies about dispatch @zavvi I will be returning this steel and wait for the Blu Fans Double lenti with 3D now.
Just fed up with this company and the tricks they pull , I will wait for the 3D version now in a superior edition.

I did, but they sent it the normal way anyway

Mine was dispatched late compared to most of you guys, although I still would've expected it by now... the official release date isn't until Monday though, so no biggy!

It's more likely they have shipped these from Holland or Sweden for UK members not to got delivery yet as UK members would have got delivery by now if shipped from Guernsey or Warrington warehouses

It takes on average 9-12 days for my orders to arrive from Sweden warehouse to Rep of Ireland so I would take a guess it would be 5 days or more for the UK

I can't remember, it was a while ago when I ordered. But being that I don't live in the UK I don't think I would've been offered any free shipping, it's always 99p standard or £14.99 tracked iirc.

Mine was "supposedly" posted Tuesday, if that was the case it would have been here yesterday. My post is 100% reliable due to the area I live. Zavvi never posted this on Tuesday

I can't remember, it was a while ago when I ordered. But being that I don't live in the UK I don't think I would've been offered any free shipping, it's always 99p standard or £14.99 tracked iirc.

Me neither (Germany), but free shipping is offered above 20 euros and most of the times express delivery. But even though express delivery is offered and selected, they don't do it because the Guernsey warehouse does not support delivery with tracking. Guernsey is the only place in the world where the postal service does not offer tracking.

I really don't understand what the issue is....... it's not officially out until Monday. I'm not defending Zavvi here, but the post in the UK, especially is crap!. I got something delivered from the folks in Scotland, and it arrived the next day, something posted from 10 miles up the road took 4 days to reach me. There is no consistency at all with the post.

Your looking at 5-10 days for the UK and 7-12 days for Rep of Ireland and longer for other countries

A lot of Zavvi orders are now dispatched from Sweden I can show you the packaging if you want to see it
I had only 1 order dispatched from Guernsey since July the rest of them was dispatched from Sweden
10 orders shipped since start of July
9 of the orders was shipped from Sweden warehouse
