Not sure I'm gonna keep this pre-order, we'll see
And I might be alone here, but I wouldn't mind a 4k Steelbook of H20
anyone know if it is getting any 4k treatment?
Dimension Films owned films, Halloween 6, H20, and Rob Zombie's Halloween and Halloween II aren't getting any kind of 4K UHD release for now

Scream could not get the rights to those films anymore
The rights to these films also in a bit of limbo at the moment so could be a good while if they ever get 4K UHD release and might not

So it's unlikely Scream 2,3,4 will ever get a 4k release?
Edit, you mean Scream Factory :shipped:

Dimension lost the rights to the Halloween films in 2015

Scream Factory could only get the rights for Halloween 1/2/3/4/5 to do 4K UHD releases
Previously the Scream Factory Halloween box set release in 2014 was a joint Scream Factory/Anchor Bay release
Scream Factory could not get the rights to the dimension Halloween Films to do 4K UHD releases as the rights had changed on those films after dimension lost the rights and also the sale of The Weinstein Company

Paramount don't have rights to dimension films made after 2005
This is also why Paramount release of Scream 3-Movie collection Blu-ray release in 2020 did not include Scream 4 (2011) and Paramount Halloween films Blu-ray release in 2020 did not include Halloween (2007) and Halloween II (2009)

All dimension films through October 1, 2005 are currently owned by Paramount Pictures via Miramax while all films since October 1, 2005 are currently owned by Lantern Entertainment and Lionsgate via Spyglass Media Group.
Halloween 2007 Blu-ray Steelbook released in 2018 was licenced out to CInedIgm

Paramount no plans at the moment for a 4K UHD releases of Halloween 6: Curse of Michael Myers/Halloween H20: 20 Years later/Halloween Resurrection

They not films they have priority to spend money on to do new transfers so don't expect 4K UHD release soon if at all

You might get 4K UHD releases of Scream 2 and Scream 3 from Paramount but the don't have the rights to Scream 4
Unless Paramount can come to an agreement with Lionsgate and Spyglass Media Group to do a 4K UHD release of Scream 4

Just watched it. Wasn’t bad. Very violent which I suppose is all you want from these films but the plot lost it a little toward the end and just goes chaotic. End is weird too

The troll guy was ridiculous lol
