for a limited deluxe edition looks really Cheap..nothing limited to it...a true Limited/Deluxe etc edition is all about the looks of the Packaging not for an Extra disc with boring extras or whatever...a collectors wants sth unique to display in his showroom...the friday the 13th set looks much much better than this..but i ll wait to see better pics to give a proper opinion

It's very... boring I guess. Looks pretty similar to that custom artists work a few years back but they were aluminium

Edit: found him again. Looks like they're still being made too

@shiftyraccoon What sort of thing would you have wanted?

I personally think it looks superb. All individual cases with original poster art as the artwork is superb housed in a nice thick box. I'd certainly take that any day over a digistack/digipack. The artwork on the box could've been a little better I guess, but I still like it. I'm just pleased it doesn't include any crappy tat like a plastic knife/mask

It reminds me of the Nightmare on Elm Street CE from the DVD days. It's huge! I'm still getting it nonetheless. Just have to unload the first Halloween (not the digibook though) and the Zombie versions. I currently have no room for this but by September, I'm getting another shelf and this puppy is going right to the top.

This looks pretty cool, better than i thought... Thanks cooey ;)
I couldn't help but think this might have turned out like the Lord of the Rings boxset... Correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't see where the bonus disc is suppose to go... :wtf:

Afraid not mate, but it's been said people think these were just mock-ups added to that stand on display

so a simple BOX with amaray cases.....LEs getting worse these days i think....

It's the disc content which is limited, not the actual box itself. It's one hell of an effort that has gone into this from both Shout Factory and Anchor Bay to bring this to light, especially with the 'Producers Cut' of Halloween 6 which is the only way to (legally) get this in this box set.

Like I posted before, I'd much rather see limited edition box sets like this released with proper decent disc content rather than including some crappy plastic tat stuck inside the box. Been there, done that and got the T-Shirt with Limited Edition DVDs, as you well know ;)

well we agree that we disagree:p of course a LE set should include some extras but should have the looks aswell..we are talking about Packaging, presentation etc ..not about the stupid artcards, plastic hotwheels toys, action figures or t-shirts that many ridiculous LEs include....for me thats the most important thing for a LE so i can choose to spend much Money on it....
