Oh yes, that is strange...
But it is already approved for 12 (as it also was in the movie theatres!)! So this can not be the reason...

In Germany you can also watch this movie when you are younger than 12 when you visit together with your parents!!!
When i watched this at the theatres there was a girl with their parents not older then 9 or then Wonder what she thought about Hangover 2

Strange rating systems over there.

Here in the Netherlands they rated Kick-Ass as 12. Until ALLOT of people (probably parents) complained, and changed it to 16

Though the second Hangover was a bit of a deception cause it's nearly the same as the first one, couldn't resist it for under € 10,-. Ordered it together with T2 which is also € 10,- and since Amazon.de has free delivery service above 18 euros, i think it's a hell of a deal for two of these great steelbooks .
