I was able to get to the final click to place the order

Exactly what I'm seeing.

The order will never go through since one can't get to the confirmation page. :(

I've sent another message to amazon.co.uk support - there should be no reason why we can't order this.

Yes, but I prefer to order from Amazon, because they get rid of the VAT and you can save on shipping if you order with other titles or multiple copies.

That's the problem with this whole thing for our members Karl - HMV's return policy is real rubbish for many folks that live in the US - and RJ17 also has a good point - it's cheaper as well.
 
as i stated from an earlier post,is there anyone from the U.K. that ships multiple items of the same title in 1 box instead of 1 at a time in tiny cardboard boxes?

Just a suggestion - I wouldn't ask our UK members to help if these copies are destined for e-bay, however. ;)

Amazon does if I'm not mistaken.

They're limited to one copy at the moment on amazon.co.uk.

Follow up response from amazon.co.uk - it is no longer available from amazon.co.uk to order directly - they are sold out, from what I can gather.

Yeah, we can get to that page now, but when we hit the button, it just goes back to that page. No confirmation or anything. Try pressing it, you can always cancel the order if it does go through. If it goes through, we'd love to know.
