Last time I ordered from Base I received a snorkel instead of my boxset. Watch out!
Received my order today and it wasn't a snorkel, it's Hanna steelbook. In a perfect condition.
Since you ended up receiving your order just fine, I decided to place an order for this right now as well. While I have good experience with Amazon.co.uk, I can't pass up getting it from Base.com for half of the price.
Received mine about a week ago in a jiffy back but mint condition. I wish they would use some special packaging for steelbooks though as it really makes you have second thoughts.
Arriving in mint condition is what counts, but I do agree that it makes me less likely to order much from them. A deal like this was too good to pass up for a steel I really want, especially since people are getting this in mint condition, but I will likely only ever order from that site if there is a deal such as this one.

Odd the way the CEX sticker says 'budget version' also. Wasn't this Steelbook a Triple Play edition?
Methinks some one got their pricing all wrong. I picked up Thor in CEX recently and it cost me €12 but he also picked up a copy, but for €8 which makes me think they got their valuations wrong.

Love the film, and the steelbook. Unfortunately it has evaded me for far too long. Been looking for a bargain, and you got one there sir, that's for sure!
