Response from ES about the finish they are going for on this release:

There’s an emboss on the title treatment, gloss varnish on the front, cutting out the characters and a dull varnish covering the back.

The red text and red image on the back is also a pantone red, which should be a bright pillar box red.

I am thinking about cancelling mine later today because it just doesn't appeal to me, especially after seeing the same release in other countries. I've checked eBay, out of interest, to see what some of these have sold for and some are selling for only 50p to £1 more than the retail price, and that includes postage. What is the point?
