Response from ES about the finish they are going for on this release:
There’s an emboss on the title treatment, gloss varnish on the front, cutting out the characters and a dull varnish covering the back.

The red text and red image on the back is also a pantone red, which should be a bright pillar box red.

Guys i have a question. I got my copy today but im not sure if its defective. When i push the front of the steel ever so slightly is pushes in and pops out! Is it meant to do this? I hardly have to put any pressure on it for this popping noise to happen. I got two copies and both of them do it.

That is normal, happens alot with embossed steelbooks.:)

I ordered two one came in a box and another came in a cardboard mailer with not padding inside! Luckily it was mint but still shocked to see that steels are being sent out in these things.

Anyone else get theirs sent in a cardboard envelope?

Was it one like the Amazon mailers that say A1 on them (like Base use)?

It's shocking as I recently recieved a steel in that same exact packaging, by amazon out of all retailers :(

Has anyone got a copy with a spine slash on it?? One of my copies has one but it isn't the usual spine slash position. Instead of across the spine it goes down the spine, it pretty much underlines the word witch!! I am assuming it isn't a production issue as my other copies are fine, I am just curious if anyone has an issue with any of their copies??

Mine arrived this afternoon, in a box! (I've attached a photo)

There's no damaged from transporting, but after removing the packaging I notice there are a few marks. At the top there are a couple of blue squiggles for want of a better word and there are several horizontal marks at the bottom quarter - I'm not quite sure if they're part of the design or not?!?

Looking at it in the flesh, I still would of preferred a white background. The BBFC Ratings are on a sticker, and I am going to assume removable (although I haven't tried, nor do I intend to).

When I collected my copy off the mat, there was a rattle, my heart sank. :ohno: Luckily on opening the disc hadn't actually left the spindle, it just wasn't full clamped down. Disaster averted.
