Response from ES about the finish they are going for on this release:
There’s an emboss on the title treatment, gloss varnish on the front, cutting out the characters and a dull varnish covering the back.

The red text and red image on the back is also a pantone red, which should be a bright pillar box red.

Just got my copies today, packaging is good only issue I can see just cardboard no bubble wrap are foam but they are perfect none the less and the sb is really good, would have been amazing if it was white gloss finish.

I thought the sticker would have been on the steelbook not the wrapper. After all, when unwrapped and you've disposed of the cling film wrap what actually makes this collectable?

After it's unwrapped, it's no longer as collectable. The steelbook is the same in every other country, minus the stickers or j-cards/slips. You can always peel off the sticker and put it on the poly bag used to protect the steelbook. That's what I do with my opened copies.

That's exactly why I wont open this one after thinking about it. It's not the type of film I'd personally keep if it starts demanding higher prices so I'll keep it sealed for trading.

I tried this but ended up ripping the sticker, in the bin it went (the sticker not the Steelbook). To be honest I don't really care about the sticker, I don't plan on selling my open copy. I had some spares but have sold them off at cost to other collectors. I don't see the point in hoarding spare copies in the hope of it rising in price. If it does rise in price, when is the best time to sell? Who knows, I can't be dealing with the stress :hilarious:

Received today.. In a nice safe box but with a very strange plastic wrap around it also..
Nice to see let's hope that ES continue it..can't believe it looks so nice..v v happy:scat:
