Response from ES about the finish they are going for on this release:

There’s an emboss on the title treatment, gloss varnish on the front, cutting out the characters and a dull varnish covering the back.

The red text and red image on the back is also a pantone red, which should be a bright pillar box red.

I just ordered this and G.I joe retaliation both ES both sealed and mint so can't wait to see these in hand I've not seen the films but I won't matter it's the steels I wanted so far that's me with all the ES releases with both jack reachers 1st & 2nd print and with star trek steelbook and the villain ship set on pre-order it's all good.
