This two-disc set is 1xBD (2D & 3D versions of film), 1xDVD (Japanese edition).

Extended cut and international cut show on timer as about the same length, but the Japanese 'extended' cut has the proper dialogue and a couple of scenes put back (only a couple of minutes, but very, very necessary), which shows just what utter bollox the english dub is (some warfare scenes have been re-used to cover removes). Seriously. Damn-near a different film. Goes from average to epic... While tidy and complete, the ending is still hoping for a franchise a little too hard.

The 'Making Of' is a subtitled version of 'The Complete Captain Harlock Checklist', released in Japan prior to the film.

Kind of annoying, because the dubbed version is so bad, yet so pretty; while the subbed version is awesome but only a DVD (and this is one of the films where the difference between BD & DVD is noticeable).
