We'll see what happens. I ordered just over the amount needed to qualify for the cheaper shipping, and if I don't get hit then I've found the sweet spot.

Or I've just ordered £25 of steels and I'm gonna have to pay that again before the courier gives them to me

Amazon.ca use DHL if your order over £15 it's almost certain to be hit by customs. Plus packaging is so poor getting a undamged steel is like winning the lottery.

I bought 1-6 last year from Amazon.ca individually and had no problems having them delivered to the UK. They used DHL and only took 2 days to arrive. It was quicker than ordering from within the UK!

Tempted to get the 1-5 steels from the sale on Amazon.ca but heard the packaging is "thin" at best.
For the price might be worth the risk though.

The only place I've got dinged for customs was amazon.com!!

I ordered the complete set last fall from Ultimate Discounts Canada on Amazon.ca and it was shipped everything in one carefully packed package. Only charged $4 for shipping too.
