I'm quite dissaponted In that steel.

Looks dull

I dont get why kimchi have chosen matte on this, and before anyone says its suits the film well they have had many others where matte might suit it but the finsh was gloss. Dallas buyers club for example.

This should of been gloss

Had the potential to look stunning with gloss but they made a poor decision by going with matte finish. Even if this looks good in-hand, matte finish can't compete with a glossy Steelbook.

Some color scheme work better with different finish. If all the Steels would always be Glossy, it would be boring.

This looks like it's gonna be a really awesome release !

The problem is you have a product that is almost finished and not fully finished. It is pure cost cutting. Plain and simple. Vast majority prefers gloss over matte.

I don't need a glossy finish on my speakers and subwoofers as they are big and hard to clean due to dust settling quite often. Same doesn't apply to Steelbooks as they are way too smaller and can be put inside a dust proof plastic protection sleeve.

Kimchi is great at doing a Steelbook that ties in with the movie. Matte Finish goes much better when we look at the movie with Dirt Roads, Ranch Homes, Desert, Texas... all of this feels right with a Matte Finish as Opposed to a Glossy one that would feel out of Place with the movie. This isn't a case of cutting corners, Kimchi does not do that, it is intentional as they do Steelbooks to fit with the movie theme.

Unless it's been a WWA release like passengers for example then all their exclusives have been glossy. I can't think of one matte wea they have done. Infact apart from FAC I can't think of many matte premiums but then most of facs are WWA anyway
