As much as I am looking forward to this edition, from all the pictures I have seen for the steelbook which looks really nice,
I do feel however that this does not measure up to The Hateful Eight Steelbook.

My two shipped on 5/30, arrived at JFK airport on 6/1 and there has been no tracking update since.

Same for me too, no movement. Mine shows it as UPS Surepost, so that will delay it a bit. It say estimated delivery 6/7, but that seems unlikely because it still shows as if UPS is waiting to pick it up.

As much as a gave this grief for not being gloss it does in hand look nice and it's a smooth finsh too so I can't grumble but your right, no where near hateful eight standard. I genuinely love their release of H8 and the way the title pops out with the red and gloss is beautiful

I think I've made a bad choice in slip though for this so that's why I'm dissaponted. The mock up is much more colourful, I like the weathered look and old feel of the material used and I suppose what they did with Dallas buyers club it's similar but for me the slip B I have is so dull in hand.

Received my Slip B this morning too, and I really like it overall!

I can understand people's complaints about the slip itself though... it's a bit dull and doesn't really have anything special going on, but then I kind of expected that anyway as it suits the style of the film IMO. Love the satin matte finish on the steel, and the denim jeans design for the envelope etc is a pretty cool idea.

Looking forward to rewatching it later.

Glad you like it, If they spot glossed and embossed the title on the spine like they have with the front then I'd be a bit happier I think. Maybe even some spot gloss on the fire parts. Dunno

Nah it's too much hassle to send it back and sort a new one out.
Or I won't be buying another just to sell this on and loose money etc

My last issue at the start of the year they ignored me and every message after that so kimchi have fallen way down in my good books anyway (not that it's affected my opinion on the editon or made me biased in any way but I can't be arsed to go through with contacting them) I'll just have to suck this one up

My Kill Bill Vol 1 took over a month to arrive. My tracking never updated past 'ready for dispatch' (no mention of Incheon at all unlike all my previous orders) and now sadly, this order has gone the same way

It's like as if they're using frigging surface mail it's so slow.

My tracking used to always track my packages through Incheon airport but it doesn't seem to any more. Which makes me think they're not sent via air anymore.

Going to pick up my lenti tomorrow. Will post some pics if others haven't done so already. The full slips look good but the colours of the lenti suit the film better for me.
