Hostel (Blu-ray SteelBook) [Italy]

I always thought his was a Sony Release but it states Universal in the Amazon listing.
Along with Stand By Me which I also thought was always a Sony release (you can even see Sony Pictures on the spine in the mock up!)?
Anyway, it makes me think that this Hostel Steelbook will surface elsewhere (as the Stand By Me Steelbook did eventually!)

So I'm guessing that Hostel is an excellent companion piece to Stand By Me that I can safely recommend to my young niece. I'm just off to text her the details...

I like the Artwork
The only thing is USA Blu-ray has more extras
I have both films on Blu-ray
One of my previous Tenants a few years ago decided to watch it with his girlfriend her response was priceless

It's not an error it's correct the website listing saying universal
Universal are the distributors for Sony Dvd/Blu-ray releases in Italy since October 2013

But all Universal are region free if I'm not mistaken, so the Region listing is possibly wrong.
Its still a Sony release but distributed by Universal
The disc itself will be the same as previous Sony disc
Universal just have the contract for distribution not production
Universal Pictures International Entertainment is to distribute physical video product for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment in Italy from October 2013. Universal will provide operations, finance and marketing support in order to maximise studio efforts in the Italian market

So many memorable scenes / lines in both films. Great slasher horror flicks.
