Release Schedule (SUBJECT TO APPROVALS!) - We would like to let you know our direction over the next few releases and as stated above, these are subject to approvals. We are taking on board suggestions of movies without steelbook releases but we need some sort of foot in the market before doing so. However, some of those titles have already been brought up in a meeting today, so hopefully we can progress further with those soon.

This schedule is planned to have full Exclusive SteelBook designs (Not just flipped artwork exclusivity). All would feature the same setup as Shaun of the Dead; Full Slip, Lenticular & Blu Box.

I’m not a fan of that art if im honest. The front looks off to me. I preferred their previous design, with the title at the top of the steel and without the red/blue police lights on ‘HOT’

really wish I could get hyped for this but after the clusterfuck of Shaun and the not so premium feel of the end product, am super wary for this one.

will likley order it as currently its the only option for a lenti-slip on the trilogy, AND I have shaun already....just doubt I'll rush on the pre-order unless am about anyway.

Agree completely with this. Think it was their second mock up, very similar to this, which was really nice. It had the title at the top, as you said, but the village was properly visible across the bottom and it was a sky blue rather than the very dark blue used.

Quite a dull, depressing steel tbh and the title...why edit the title? Looks kind of tacky

Agree re: Shaun, but their Scott Pilgrim release was superb.

Title looks weird, I don't understand why they cover part of it, especially when the badge is already being used on the back.

Been a long time lurker, usually happy to read comments but not today.

I'm very disappointed with this. What have they done to the film's logo? Changing the official logo makes it look like a knock-off!

This particularly sucks because the 2nd mock-up was perfect! This is better than the 3rd (Force Ghost) mock-up I guess. The best part is the Spine will align with Shaun of the Dead.

Hopefully it's not too late to get the Official Title/Logo on this?

- It's not just the lights on Hot but the lines are missing from the logo too! So strange

I asked @EverythingBlu on Facebook about the colors, the reply is below:

The top is very dark blue (Blue/purple almost) but blends nicely into the light colours. The blend is not shown as good as the real thing and that's more down to the upload to Facebook, the original image is good.

Lets hope this is true! Personally I dont mind the blue and red lights in the title but think I do prefer that OG Mock Up artwork with more characters on!

Just seen this … not a pretty sight this #4 … just dour and depressing … looking like they just revisited mock-up #2 and made everything bigger … everything except the title …

… when all they needed to do was settle on mock-up #3 … rub out spectral Messrs. Dalton and Nighy ... steelbook then would've been tops and with some pizzazz ...
… and anyway from a design standpoint #3 wins hands down if only due to the fact that the stacked front artwork mirrors the shape of the badge on the back.

Also preferred the high title to go w/ their SotD steelbook but can guess why the position was changed to lower down where there's more space ...

However, good to read confirmation that the badge on the back will have something of the stunning "Gang Related" badge 'bossing … surely the best bit of this steelbook.

That's what I'm hoping for too.

And if I had say in the embossing, this would be my design. All the Green parts are normal height, all the Red parts are recessed.

If you zoom in on their in hand shot for the back, it looks like theres a hint of debossing on the top of the badge. So not quite as cool as it could be, but still something.

#2 or #3 I would've been happy with. With the chosen design it's as if they've worked backwards. It is as if they've thought what would make a good design and then removed all of that from the final product

They've shown they can do an excellent design for it, so why not run with it

Cmon now that wouldn’t be fair because we’d then miss out on another Noodles original haha.

I don’t know what to think of this situation. I must confess that all of the poster artwork for this film doesn’t exactly get me excited. There is this one alternative poster by Adam Rabalais that I liked the look of but apart from that, I just don’t thing anything lends itself well to a steelbook.

Sorry mate, but I honestly can't be bothered lol. I'm not sure I'd even be able to come up with anything better anyway!

I personally think the final design is good though... however, I'd maybe just nudge Pegg & Frost down a bit and place the title above them (similar to one of their previous mock-ups).

Most will probably disagree, but I think swapping the front and back around would work quite well... that way they could do some crazy embossing to the badge, and it would also then clean up the back image with Pegg & Frost by not having to squash the title in there.
