Completely forgot they were doing a live-action remake until i saw some leaked shots last night... Toothless genuinely looks amazing!

@Noodles All the photos were deleted :(
Nothing ever can be deleted online, even if most people are lazy now and got accustomed to linking the same single social media post due to ease of embedding everywhere, that can be deleted (not talking about Noodles in particular - found a dozen other places where there was only that post, now empty, linked).

Anyway, I assume these are the ones:

Then I see no point, it's a shot for shot, looking exactly the same, remake.

People are saying there's a teaser trailer out already in theaters, so why are they bothering deleting anything. It'll be released online soon.

Looks like a good bit of fun this. Great that Gerard Butler is reprising his role he had in the animated version.

It'd be funny if it's amazing and we start getting live action Dreamworks movies... can't wait to see Mike Myers as Shrek or Stallone as an ant.:shipped:

I think this is probably the best way to do a live action adaptation. You keep it almost exactly the same but then try to expand upon it. The relationships and world get explored more. It has stunning visuals with the landscapes and I love the way they redesigned some of the dragons to look more real. Shockingly the only one that I felt got a slight downgrade was Toothless. Because of the realistic approach you lose a lot of the expressions and character of him. They tried to give him some, but for me it just doesn't quite reach the same level of connection that the animated Toothless has. That said, this a wonderful film and a must see in IMAX.
