I started collecting on April 5th, 2006. It was a surprise when a cashier at Future Shop handed me an empty G1 SteelBook for The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe for buying the DVD. I had no idea what SteelBooks were but it was love at first sight/touch.

Scarface cigar box Set in 2011

2012 September Jaws
That got me hooked I then started to get buy lot of new and back catalog play.com steelbooks and Amazon UK/Germany

2013 Play.com then Zavvi Steelbooks and Amazon UK/Germany Steelbooks
2013 nearly 100 Steelbooks

2014 to many releases so far in Jan/Feb/March

2014 Have to be careful with my Steelbook Spending getting a bit crazy
100% Hooked

I expect 2014 will be crazy amount of releases
2015 Disney madness as some big titles will be possible

my first steelbooks were actually xbox games DOOM3 followed by Halo2 with appleseed being the 1st dvd steelbook back in 2004... only started on blurays steelbooks late 2013 with Tron 3D being the 1st....

First steelbook was the Robin Hood SB from Play.com.
Unfortenately the interest fell, when Zavvi.com decided to flood the market with steelbooks of every movie being released, making my collecting feel less exclusive.
