600 OCs = sold in approx. 25 seconds = $105.000

1.000 OCs = would sell in approx 45 seconds = would make additional $70.000 (!!!) = 400 frustrated people less

It shouldn't make you wonder.. 600 OCs = 1,800 steels, which only leaves 400 of each individual slip, from a 3K print run. Not everyone wants a OC remember, and the limited print run is kinda the entire point of limited edition premium release lol

Being on a mobile connection, and stupidly going for a OC perfectly knowing if I miss out, I won't have time to get others. Which is exactly what happened, three times got OOS notice at checkout.

Of course, that doesn't automatically mean you can make 10.000-15.000 and expect the same results, but seriously, I cannot imagine NOT selling 1.000-1.500 units of such a demanded title within a reasonable time frame (five minutes or so), and increasing your income 2-3x.

Yes, but you're both forgetting that isn't what manta do.. 3K runs. They very rarely deviate recently. You can wish what you want, but it's kinda pointless tbh.. it's like suggesting Honda to make bath plugs, just because they have access to metal

I think everyone has forgotten about Manta's CP line lol!
They are now in the business of milking each release, they recently did a discless The BATMAN variant but with different artwork.
They said The Batman was their first CP release which was announced 7 months after the original variant, so I assume eventually they'll release a discless variant for this one as well.

I was saying the same thing for a while now, the limit is 3000 minimum, not maximum, why not make 5000 for obviously more popular titles.

You are forgetting to facture in that 50% of those buyers are scalpers seriously if it wasn’t for scalpers they would never sell out of any of these. More or less.

They just know the actual statistics and know that the majority of actual people that want it are not going to pay $200. I missed Interstellar OC because of PayPal asked me for the code etc etc (lucky that I could get the FS at that time). I was frustrated but since then things worked differently for me (lesson learned ). Now I was lucky to get the OC for Inception. Well, we know that this hobby works like this (and, oh man, the hunting moment is exciting !!!! ). I do not think that it is a question of increasing the edition number (many people will come into the discussion that items will be less collectible etc etc).

...with a crucial difference: I'm not suggesting anything to anyone, rather commenting on a collector's forum. It's not up to a company to listen what I have to say if they don't want to. I just wrote I'm surprised they're not seizing such an opportunity many would die for (an opportunity that would consequently benefit much of the collector's community).

i see the same old arguments put again and again from old members to new.
and some that dont know what on earth the game is either, in that manta do a limited release cos they dont want to be stuck with stuff left over either and the fact the limit IS the appeal.
some would drop manta if they felt not limited enough either as in some collectors, that collect as investment and they dont want big runs either.
